Day 1

Fly into Harare
Zimbabwe’s Capital with an estimated population of 2,8million people and lies 1471m above sea level the city lies in the centre of some of the most fertile and beautiful parkland in Zimbabwe as a result, it is a real garden city of trees and flowers.
Depending on what time the flight arrives you can visit the kopje ideal for city view

Day 2

Harare –Masvingo Great Zimbabwe (293km 4hrs)
Drive to Masvingo the oldest European created town in Zimbabwe, with an estimated population 100 000 people. It’s the base town for Great Zimbabwe which is the greatest medieval city in sub-Sahara Africa & provides evidence that Africa revealed civilization not suspected by early scholars.
Included activity: Here will do a trail guide of the national monument for 2hrs 30mins (late afternoon). · ·

Day 3

Great Zimbabwe to Matopo (Bulawayo) (330km 3hrs) pop 1,5mil
Zimbabwe’s intriguing 2nd capital city Bulawayo with an estimated population of 1 million is the base town for Matopo. Matopo is the oldest national park in Zimbabwe & has good rhino & leopard pop in the country and has 3000 rock art sites & san paintings.
On arrival in Bulawayo go for a tour of the rail museum then continue drive to Matopo. · ·

Day 4

In the morning leave to go see the san paintings, visit Rhodes grave.
Will do an afternoon Game drive and track the rhinos on foot · ·

Day 5

Matopo to Hwange National Park (350km)
Hwange is 15000 km2 known for its big herds of buffaloes and elephants 30000 (has big 5) 400 species of birds and 107 types of animals.
We will do an afternoon Game drive. · ·

Day 6

Hwange
Full day Game drive and a Village tour. · ·

Day 7

Hwange – Victoria Falls drive 180km (3hrs)
We enter the much anticipated Victoria Falls National Park where we will experience the might Zambezi River Included activity Tour of the falls. ·

Day 8

Victoria Falls
Optional activities –Rafting, sunset cruise, bungee jump, elephant ride, lion walk ,horse riding.
Optional dinner out.

Day 9

Vic Falls to Lusaka 470km
Leaving behind the natural wonder of the world we cross the border into Zambia after Livingstone, the journey towards bustling Zambia’s capital Lusaka where locals go about their daily business you will notice the vegetation become sub tropical and roads a little rougher. · ·

Day 10

Lusaka to Chipata 580km
Today is a long drive through lush country crossing rivers en-route to Chipata the gateway to south Luangwa National Park. Zambia is truly African an adjustment from most western ways of Southern Africa. · ·

Day 11

Chipata to South Luangwa national park 180km
Early morning we drive from Chipata to the border of south Luangwa Park where we spend 2 nights at our camp on the Park of Luangwa River. You can often see hippos and other animals in camp. The Park is known for its high concentrated of Leopards and hippos .The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa & is the life blood of the park’s 9050 km2. En-route to South Luangwa we do a village tour and tribal textile tour, upon arrival check in and then go for afternoon and night game drive. · ·

Day 12

South Luangwa
Optional game drive and game walk. · ·

Day 13

South Luangwa to Luwawa forest 470km
Depart from South Luangwa and cross border into Malawi where we begin climbing the mountains that border the shores of Lake Malawi. In these areas there is a lot of commercial forestry and the cooler climate can be very pleasant change from the more humid temperature below (Biggest man made forest in Africa). · ·

Day 14

Luwawa Forest
Included activity Guided walk in the forest
Optional activities: fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, abseiling. · ·

Day 15

Luwawa Forest to Lake Malawi
This is Malawi’s main tourist attraction & covers one fifth of the country. It is the 3rd largest lake in Africa & is about 500km.The lake has more fish species than any other lake in the world with around 600 different species The road down the mountain from Luwawa to the lake Shore is scenic and quite exciting .We take a break from traveling with a couple of relaxing days at the Lake Malawi. There is lovely white sand and lists of water sports and leisure activities available. · ·

Day 16

Lake Malawi
Included activity is morning village tour.
After lunch you can choose optional activities: Horse riding, boat cruise, diving, canoeing, snorkeling · ·

Day 17

Lake Malawi
Optional activities: Horse riding, boat cruise, diving, canoeing, snorkeling e.t.c. · ·

Day 18

Lake Malawi –Lilongwe 250km
Our last day of the trip we travel to Malawi’s political Capital city Lilongwe,
