Social Responsibility

Leana, the core Director of Africa Travel Tours is a woman of extraordinary compassion and dedication. Her passion for the girl child has led her to adopt and nurture ten young girls at Lupinyo village. She believes that every child, regardless of gender, has a fundamental right to education.

Driven by her unwavering belief, Leana takes an active role in their education, instilling in them the importance of knowledge and empowering them to dream big. Leana personally pays their school fees, ensuring they have access to quality education.

Leana’s commitment to her daughters extends beyond academics. Recognizing the challenges young girls face, she provides them with access to sanitary wear and books, essential tools for their well-being and development.

She is more than just a mother to them; she is a role model, a mentor, and a beacon of hope.

Leana’s story is an inspiration to us all. It reminds us that a single act of kindness can have a profound impact on a child’s life. Her dedication to her adopted daughters is a testament to the power of love and the transformative potential of education.

Here are some ways you can support Leana’s mission:

  • Donate to Africa Travel Tours to help Leana continue providing for her daughters’ education and well-being.
  • Volunteer your time and expertise to help with educational programs and activities.
  • Spread the word about Leana’s story and encourage others to support her cause.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of girls like Leana’s daughters and empower them to reach their full potential.

A Commitment to our Community

Here at Africa Travel Tours, we believe in giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the environment. That’s why we’ve committed to a weekly litter clean-up initiative along Miles Road. Every Friday, a dedicated team of our employees volunteers their time to pick up trash and debris, keeping the road clean and safe for everyone who uses it.

We believe this initiative is important for several reasons:

  • A cleaner environment: By removing litter, we’re helping to keep our community clean and healthy. Litter can be harmful to wildlife, pollute our waterways, and create an unpleasant environment for everyone.
  • Community pride: A clean and well-maintained community fosters a sense of pride and ownership among residents. We want to do our part to keep Miles Road looking its best.
  • Employee engagement: Our litter clean-up initiative is a great way for our employees to get involved in their community and make a difference. It’s also a team-building exercise that helps to strengthen relationships and build morale

Miles Road Clean up day with employees

We’re proud of our commitment to keeping Miles Road clean and we’re grateful to our employees who volunteer their time to make it happen. We encourage everyone to do their part to keep our community clean by properly disposing of their trash and recycling.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Join us for our weekly litter clean-up on Fridays.
  • Pick up litter whenever you see it.
  • Recycle properly.
  • Spread the word about the importance of keeping our community clean.

Together, we can make a difference and create a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone
